Son of 8

Two life-long friends with life-long ambitions, Paul Hampson and Colin Airey make up the duo that is Son of 8.

Taking 2016 by the horns, the Liverpool pair have already flourished with an onslaught of releases on some of the biggest labels in the business, not to mention their hectic gig schedule dips in and out of Europe and the UK on a weekly basis. Their ability to blend vintage house sounds with innovative techno textures has resulted in a signature style that only Son of 8 can explain, welcome to their house.

David Glass

5 years ago, a fresh faced raver happened over a couple of djs playing at a club night in his home town of Liverpool, this was to be David’s first taste of authentic house music at its finest.

An Easter Sunday at the legendary Circus Club with Yousef and Ricardo Villalobos in control was to change the life of a young David Glass perpetually. Blown away by his first experience of this new world, David Glass knew he had finally discovered his sound. Honing his studio craft at the tender age of 18, David was originally influenced by early hip hop and old school 90’s dance, yet after the infamous visit to Circus his style evolved. Now leaning towards the darker side of house, his music and dj sets are laced with a broader jackin’ tech essence, yet still retaining that infectious groove.

Mark Jenkyns

All the learning in the world cannot replace instinct. And it is that instinct, that innate aptitude for embedding funk-laden basslines into electronic music that has made Mark Jenkyns the exciting prospect that he is today.

His natural understanding of the dancefloor coupled with his impulsive methods to spark it into action have enabled him to garner a reputation as both a forward thinking producer and immersive DJ. Having grown up in South Shields in the north east of England, it took a trip to Ibiza in 2003 to finally prompt Mark into getting involved with the scene he loved. So powerful was the influence of the White Isle on Mark’s career that the spirit and ethos of the island still permeates his sound today.

Ki Creighton

Ki Creighton is no stranger to house music , on the seen since 1991 and now majorly influencing matters both north and south of the border.

It’s not often you see a rising star who’s been around forever, but that’s Ki Creighton – an absolute bastion of proper house music over three decades, but now this is his time in the spotlight. Before Ki hit the heights internationally he really earned his stripes rocking it at venues across the UK since the mid 90s, including a residency at legendary Carlisle club night Uber. Here he played alongside the likes of Roger Sanchez, Hot Since 82, Green Velvet, Eats Everything, David Morales and of course his old best buddy, Yousef. But it isn’t just about where he plays, it’s how he plays. This guy has some serious energy! Total passion, total carnage!

ATFC

ATFC is not a football team, it is in fact it’s one man who stands alone in his quest for keeping the funk alive & kickin and he’s been doing so for over a decade.

ATFC’s picture hangs in the House Music Hall of Fame. OK, so it’s on a rusty nail in the toilet under the stairs at the end of the hall, but the point is that it’s there; a proud testament to one man’s ability to both devastate dance-floors with his explosive, peak-time sets and deliver sickeningly slick productions at an awe-inspiring rate.

Tuff London

Thriving on an influence of hard-hitting house music, UK house duo Tuff London much prefer a DIY approach to their creativity.

Utilising their musical background through innovative, slap-in-the-face techno, Benz and Sam Tee have already built an impressive following from dance music enthusiasts, as well as being highly praised by some of the biggest names in the business.
